This half day demonstration is designed to launch participants into their next level of proficiency.  During the first hour will Mr Coll will demonstrate his easy start method. Getting started and designing a firm foundation is the key to successful outcomes. According to Mr Coll "There are too many painters bewildered by detail and find themselves drowning in minutia, therefore losing the big picture". Mr Coll teaches a firm stroke, easy and fast technique that is easy to master. After the hour demonstration students are encouraged to get started and complete an 8 x 10 painting

George Coll lives west of Loveland, Colorado. He is inspired by the beautiful northern Colorado countryside with landscape paintings composed on location to capture the essence of light. Larger landscapes are completed in the studio from his on-location field studies. George started painting with watercolors in 1986 at the Denver Art Students League. Since that time he developed a passion for oils. He has had a long term association with the Denver Art Students League and has taken classes continually for 10 years.
